Description

A Function is a relation between two sets that associates to every element of the first set exactly one element of the second set. With reference to this definition the elements of the second set is called the independent variable and the the elements of the first set are the dependent variables in the equation or inequation that defines this relationship.

Common Algebraic functions are Rational and Polynomial functions . Some of the polynomial functions are  Linear , Quadratic and Cubic functions.
